The Local Investing Action (LIA) Network

As part of the Center for Community Ownership’s efforts to catalyze local and community-focused investment, we launched the Local Investing Action (LIA) Network to support community leaders interested in cultivating their local investment ecosystems.

We have concluded our inaugural cohort of 21 practitioners in 14 states across the U.S. to support their creation of projects to transform the local investing landscape in their communities.

LIA is supported its members in their interests in forming local investment groups, creating community investment funds, developing platforms to facilitate investment, assembling educational resources, and working on other local and community investment projects.
